Buying A Used N35 Beechcraft Bonanza The Rigth Way.

The Beechcraft Bonanza 35-series model may be an older line of aircraft, but these small powerful single engine aircraft come packed with many attractive features. This is especially true for pilots looking for a less expensive airplane with the quality of Beechcraft engineering behind it.

The N35 was produced in 1961 and included many modern updates from the previous M35 Bonanza model. The N35's most notable update from the M35 is its longer cabin, which comes with a longer rear window and larger bulkhead storage area. The instrumentation of the N35 is also the last of the Beechcraft models to have piano key switches, which many pilots enjoy. The style of the N35 Bonanza is well respected and continues to this day in Beechcraft’s aircraft design.

The engine of the N35 Bonanza is also an upgrade. It has a 260 horsepower Continental IO-470-N engine, which is served by a larger 80-gallon fuel capacity. With this capacity and an improved fuel delivery system, pilots can enjoy a longer range and less operating cost per gallon consumed. Also, parts of the N35 are still readily available and costs run minimally compared to other less-known Bonanza models.

The N35 was also given a heavier mass, which makes this single engine aircraft a very solid flyer in heavy winds and turbulence. This heavier mass also makes it a great starter aircraft for the new single engine pilot. The N35 Bonanza is a powerful aircraft with a low price tag, perfect for the beginning general aviation pilot to the most experienced hobbyist who loves flying.
