V35 Beechcraft Bonanza For Sale – How To Buy One

Up until the late 1960s, general aviation customers had a limited selection of engines for their aircraft due to limitations of structural and mechanical engineering. Beechcraft redefined the general aviation industry with stronger structural engineering design and more efficient lift mechanisms that allowed stronger engines to be matched to more solid airframes. The V35 Bonanza was the first in a series of option-driven aircraft that delivered unparalleled service to general aviation customers.

The Beechcraft V35 Bonanza was produced between 1966 and 1982 and featured the Beechcraft trademark “V” tail. During its production run, the V35 came with two engine choices: the 285 horsepower IO-520-B or the 285 horsepower TIO-520-D. The D variant allowed the V-35 to hold its maximum power up to 19,000 feet, reducing travel time and maximizing fuel efficiency. Finally, a turbo-charged option could deliver power up to 24,000 feet at 230 miles per hour.

The V35 Bonanza became a solid standard of fast, powerful and fuel-efficient general aviation design. The V35A and V35B both came with a re-designed deluxe interior and the V35TC came standard with six-passenger capacity. Beginning in 1975, the V35 Bonanza model came standard with a larger cargo door and improved interior molding.

Today’s V35 Bonanza is still a preferred aircraft of choice in the used general aviation industry. The V35 Bonanza has kept its value very well in the general aviation industry. Its purchase price used is roughly the same as its price when it was brand new- a testament to the quality of Beechcraft engineering and design.
