Piper Arrow

A Great Aircraft You DON'T Want To Overlook!

The Piper Arrow came to life in 1967 as a 180 horsepower four seater retractibe aircraft. Just two years later it was upgraded to a 200 horsepower engine amongst other minor adjustments.

The Arrow was then fitted with a "T" tail, similar to that of some of the Beechcraft King Air's. This made the Arrow very attractive looking as well as stylish and gave it a uniqueness that no other single engine had at the time.

The one feature of the Arrow is the fact that they came with a Turbo Charger on some of the models. This put it in direct competition with the Cessna 182T. As far as performance specifications, you would have no problem seeing 165 knot cruise speeds up at 10,000 feet.

The nice thing about the Arrow is the fact that it is very cost effective to purchase when considering the alternatives. With it's standard retractibe gear and the turbo option along with its great performance specifications, you really can't go wrong in looking at buying one.

The hard thing about buying an Arrow is... You'll have a tough time finding one that is for sale! The good ones are bought up very fast and the owners keep them for long periods of time. So you'll have to look hard to find one and be patient and wait for the right one to come on the market.
