This Piper Six Might Be Just What Your Looking For!
The Piper Cherokee Six rolled off the assembly line in 1965. Since then there have been over 7,000 produced.
The "Six" is a larger version of the original Cherokee 150 or four seater that Piper made. It looks similar and has similar characteristics. But the difference is the fact that the "Six" has six seats and a 300 horsepower engine!
When it started life in 1965 it only had a 260 horsepower engine, but fairly soon after that it was increased to 300 hp. As far as performance specifications go, the "six" cruises at about 145 knots.
It is not the best 6 seater you can buy, but if your hauling cargo then it might be for you as it has very large cargo doors on the side of the airplane and is very roomy.
The cool thing about this aircraft is you can add a seventh seat in the very back of it. This makes it different from all it's competitors who only allow 6 seats. So if you have a big family or need to haul a lot of people, this might be what your looking for!
